NEARFIELD

Nearfield

Near, not far.

Everything Nearfield builds starts on-device, by default. Computation kept close, by default.

The apps

The signal keeps falling off — follow along for what's next.

On-device

No accounts.
No tracking.

On-device by default.

By default, there's no server in the way.

Processing runs on your device. What leaves is what you ask to leave — like publishing a post to Medium.

The idea

It's not just a name.

Near-field and far-field are real terms in the physics I work in day to day — and they describe exactly what I'm building.

Everything under Nearfield starts on the device, by default — computation kept close instead of routed far to a server first. When a feature genuinely needs one, I'll say so.

Follow along

The next build is posted here first.

I ship solo and post the process as it happens. Follow to watch PhaseWake and GeoPunch go from prototype to store.
